Chucky Cheese

Cassidy loves her Chucky Cheese card.

We went to Chuck Cheese's for Trente Birthday. First time to the Layton location. Not bad-- I was expecting a Peter Piper Pizza type place. This place was cleaner & quite a few more activities. I had a few coupons I used when I placed our order, the gal at the register didn't know how to enter them in & had to ask a few people, they ended up calling someone who talked them through it. So they gave me some extra tokens for the trouble. I had also purchased some tokens & the machine had quit counting them out in the middle of the amount I was owed. So the lady starts counting them out by hand. Then gives up & gives me a bunch more tokens. I was very patient & they were very nice. I am not complaining about that. What I am complaining about is-- Do you know how long it takes to spend 300 tokens. The kids were all playing games, Nic & I were playing games-- I had a go at Skee ball- I was doing alright, until the little girl next to me forgot how to play & hit me in the face with a skee ball. If only Nic had seen, I am sure he would have LHAO. Poor little girl stood there frozen then turned & finished her game. I looked around to see if anyone else saw it-- if they did, they hid their laughter well Ü. Once we used all our tokens with a sigh of relief, we then realized that we had tickets we needed to redeem for prizes. Another adventure. It was very fun, but I wouldn't want to go there too often.

Egg noodles

1 egg

1/2 tsp salt

1 Cup flour

2 TBS water

- I mixed this in my mixer-can also be done by hand.

For such a small recipe, sure makes alot.

I tried doing them thin & they came out thick, which works great for soups. If you are making them for Spaghetti or Alfredo, try making them see through thin, or tell you husband you want a pasta attachment for your kitchenaid like me!

The dough was stiff, I did end up adding a little more water. & I cooked mine fresh, I didn't bake or dry them.

Chicken noodle soup

To feed my family of 5 & not having too much left over...

I startedwith;

6 cups water

5 Chicken boulion cubes

2 Cups cookedchicken

1/2cup of sliced celery

1/2 cup of sliced carrots

1/4 cupfrozen choppedonion

I sprinkled to taste the following spices, buthere is my estimateof how much.

1 tsp celery salt

1/2 tsp onionsalt

1/2 tsp whitepepper

1/2 tsp poultry seasoning

1/2 tsp groundpepper

1 tsp parsleyflakes

1/2 tsp salt

~This time I used homemade noodles-- my first timeever.that will be next weeks recipe.

Add about 1 cup noodles, depending on how many noodles you like. I used about 1 tsp corn starch to thicken justa little.

B I R T H D A Y
Trent is 12 today......

Fart

Cassidy & a few of her girl cousins were practicing a christmas song for the Chournos family party at grandpa's house. On the ride home, Grandpa kept tooting-- as most do. & the girls thought it funny to blame Cassidy. Cassidy was telling me this story after she got home & I wish I could work it like she did. She said, "They kept blaming me, so I just did it."-- That'll show the other girls. If you are going to get blamed for it anyway......

Bail Out

Young Chuck in Montana bought a horse from a farmer for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the horse the next day.
The next day he drove up and said, "Sorry son, but I have some bad news, the horse died."
Chuck replied, "Well, then just give me my money back."
The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it already."
Chuck said, "Ok, then, just bring me the dead horse."
The farmer asked, "What ya gonna do with him?"
Chuck said, "I'm going to raffle him off."
The farmer said, "'You can't raffle off a dead horse!"
Chuck said, "Sure I can, Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead."
A month later, the farmer met up with Chuck and asked, "What happened with that dead horse?"
Chuck said, "I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars a piece and made a profit of $998."
The farmer said, "Didn't anyone complain?"
Chuck said, "Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back."
Chuck grew up and works now for the government. He was the one who figured out how to "bail us out".
