Uintas part II

Stockton Loved camping. Grandpa told him he had to kiss every fish he cought.

Look at him puckering, & of course he got to ride on Grandpas shoulders, jumping from rock to rock is every 3 year olds dream. Except for when the rocks are 4X's your size!

Look at his cute little fish face. Who couldn't kiss that!

Uintas

The Uintas were just breathtaking.

Lots of fun and pictures.

So this was my first time fishing. Lots of fun. I did catch one, but Nic had the camera taking pictures of some scenery. And what a hike! As you can see, we had to jump from rock to rock.

The fun part-- well the deliciously fun part was the wild raspberries, that somehow grew in between these large boulders.

And for some of the hikers, climbing an extremely large boulder sounded fun.

nothing new

So many ideas about what to do over Labor day- unfortunately it's going to rain on Monday bummer. Maybe We'll go and see a movie. We are still going camping tomorrow for one night & fishing. Cassidy got a pole for her b-day & we haven't used it yet.
I need to get the kid's first day of school pictures up. They look so cute in their uniforms.

Football

We Trent missed last weeks football game-- which was the game that they handed out the picture notice. So Today I get a migraine & have Nic take him to football & he gets there in time for the team picture, but not singles-- & I had the check book & debit card-- so no football pictures for us this year. Good thing School pictures are just around the corner.

Air Hockey Champ

I believe my kids are both finally at full strength. 100% healthy!
Kim is the best at air hockey. She won all the tournaments with the wrist to prove it! Way to go.
St. George was a blast. Hard to believe it was only a week ago. As for Ping Pong-- I wasn't counting who won out of Nic & Caleb. Still it was a fun get away!
This weekend-- Labor day, & thanks to the wonderful government, I get a 4 day weekend- woot, woot !!! looking at suggestions as to what we can do. I think so far, we may go camping in the Uintas.. Anyone have any ideas, or doing anything fun?

Sick

It all started with Cassidy. She had a fever & threw up just before Nic & I left for St.George. Knowing she'd be in good hands, we left. We came back to a sick little Stockton, who got sicker & sicker. I took him to the doctor, and after a day full of testing & a hospital visit, it was decided that he has viral pneumonia. Then Trent started to complain of not feeling well. (keep in mind school is now back in session) I had him go to school anyway. Then Friday night Trent spiked a fever of 105.3 after a few baths and some advil, it went down to 104.7. It was his dads weekend & he left to go stay with his dad, who ended up taking him into the doctor and...............Strep. Life is wonderful. I have since given my house a clorox cleaning.
