My poor little Cassidy......

My poor little Cassidy had an abscess tooth. So infected that when I touched it, pus squirted out. Ewwwww. I took her to the dentist on Monday & he pulled it...... After Cassidy had a breakdown about getting a shot. He's a good dentist. He did a good job. Cass was numb for about 3 hours after, & I only gave her soft food. It was one of her molars, so she won't grow in the new one until she is 11 or so.

Apple Guts

The finished product. Over 60 bottles of applesauce & a few bottles of apple butter.

I ran out of bottles in the end & started putting it in freezer bags. A big thanks to my dad for helping me for 6 hours straight on saturday, completing my applesauce venture.

Nic & I attended a Halloween party over the weekend..

It's official, I have the knees of an old Lady.

Anytime my kids-OR Husband- do something that takes the slightest bit of concentration, out comes the tongue. It's a cute little habbit.

Stockton was a little too excited to wait for Halloween, so he changed into his costume & took Nic & I by surprise.

Applesauce

I am going to try & make applesauce this year. Anyone have a good recipe or some tips?

THE ZOO

Today we went to the zoo, along with everyone else... For some reason I thought I was the only one with this brilliant idea......

We got there about 10:30, it was still kinda cool for the AM. A lot of the animals were out and active- After lunch when it warmed up, they weren't so active. We only had a few animals left when Nic called to see how the kids were liking the zoo-- he was asking where we were & what animal we were looking at-- That little stinker, He came to the zoo after work to surprise us. & what a surprise it was when he came walking up. The kids seemed to be zapped with new energy! Nic hasn't come to the zoo with us in years, because he feels the animals would rather not be living there. So once Nic got there, we toured the zoo again. The kids will be sleeping good tonight! It was a wonderful day to go & a good time was had by all. I have quite a few pictures, but will only post a few of them.

This one is my favorite picture. Nic is such a good dad.

As you can see from the previous pictures Stockton was Not being nice when it came to pictures. I think almost all the pictures I took he either had his eyes closed or tongue sticking out.

To end our trip to the zoo, we took a nice little 60 second train ride.

Did you miss it?

We had a heck of a time last night.We had Kim & Caleb bring their fire pit & since the snow didn't start to stick until about 3:00,we were in the clear, enjoying the fire with only a few little snow flakes.

We had lots of food-- what else would you expect? A good time with friends, and some live music.

WTF- What the freezing

An early snow- Syracuse got plastered... Give it 3 days, it will be gone. Is this a warning of the winter to come?

Raspberry Jam

Guess what you are all getting for christmas, thats right. Raspberry jam & homemade bread. I made about 20 containers of home made raspberry jam. Yum Yum!

PUMPKINS

The kids all got to go & pick pumpkins from the Briggs' pumpkin patch. Good thing we went today-- for Saturday brings snow.

I forgot my camera, so I had to use my phone, so I know the pictures aren't great. And yes, I am aware that Trent looks like he has a wig on & needs a hair cut.
