Movie

Okay, so Nic & I are a little behind on seeing the latest movies.

Last night we watched, for the first time..

THE NOTEBOOK

The next time I watch this movie, I've decided that I will turn it off after she unpacks her suitcases.-

I am not sure I like the movie much after that. It has such deep emotions.

Deep thought-- also my favorite quote.

Alice: Oh, no, no. I was just wondering if you could help me find my way.

Cheshire Cat: Well that depends on where you want to get to.

Alice: Oh, it really doesn't matter, as long as...

Cheshire Cat: Then it really doesn't matter which way you go.

Waffles

1 cup flour (you can use 1/2 white 1/2 wheat if you want)

2 tsp baking powder

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp salt

1/8 tsp cloves

1 cup low-fat milk

1/2 cup canned pumpkin

1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar

1 T vegetable oil

1 large egg lightly beaten

~Combine first 5 ingredients (through cloves) in a large bowl, and make a well in the center of mixture. Combine milk and next 4 ingredients in a bowl and then add to flour mixture. Mix until moist. Coat waffle iron with cooking spray and preheat. Use approx 1/4 cup batter per waffle and cook 5-7 minutes or until steaming stops.

You can also substitute applesauce for the pumpkin.

FOOD

What did you eat for Superbowl?

Thanks to my Greek Heritage, and my dad for cooking it! I had some delicious Greek Lemon Rice, with some scrumptious pita bread, a side of salad with Greek dressing, some Greek potato's, & some ribs. I also had chicken souvlaki, but ate it before I took the picture. Thanks to my little brother, I will now buy a new spice. Lemon Herb. My goodness it was a delight on the pita bread. I could also see using it on pasta salad, or buttered pasta, fish, or rice. It will now be a spice of necessity at my house.

Haircut

Okay, here is a lame portrait, taken by me, with my cell phone. I was trying to show off my new layers.
